Ingredients:
INGREDIENTS :

• BOiled rIce ½ kg

• Sugar 250 grams

• Khoya 250 grams

• Clarified Butter 250 grams

• Cardamom 6

• Zafran ½ tsp

• Kewra ½ tsp

• Orange food color ½ tsp

• Raisins 2 tbsp

• Almonds/Pistachios 2 tbsp

• Coconut 2tbsp

• Asharfiyan 2 tbsp
Directions:
How To Cook Zafraani Zarda Khoya By Shireen Anwar :

1. In a pan boil ½ kg rice and add ½ tsp orange food color and then sieve. Now in another pan heat 250 grams clarified butter and add 6 cardamoms. As the aroma arises from cardamoms add 250 grams sugar and ½ cup of water.
2. When the syrup gets ready add 2 tbsp almonds and pistachios, ½ tsp zafran, 2 tbsp asharfiyan, 2 tbsp raisins, 2 tbsp coconut, 250 grams khoya and ½ tsp kewra in rice. Cover the pan and leave it for half an hour. Delicious special zarda is ready to serve.
