Ingredients:
Nepali food momo is very popular in Nepali food items. Momo is a kind of dumpling a wrapping of dough enclosing minced meat consisting of mix vegor only mix veg. Momo is traditional food of Nepal, Tebit, Bhutan and even Himalayan state of India basically in Sikkim and Darjeeling. Particularly, Momos are categorized into three different entities Non-veg, veggie and sweet. In Nepal the popular non veg Momo is buff Momo. The most famous momo station is center, which is located in Jamal, Kathmandu, Nepal. Besides, there are so many Momo restaurants in Kathmandu and even many cities in Nepal. In Newari term Momo is called Momocha. The meat used in momo according to the different regions is goat meat, chicken meat, buff meat, pork meat, yak meat mix with verities of vegetables like onion, carrot, cabbage, potato, coriander, soya sauce.
Directions:
Normally white flour is used to make dough after that the dough is shaped into small circular flat shape. The stuff whether minced meat or veg is then enclosed as per the requirement of desired shape like round pocket, crescent and half-moon shape. The dumpling can be cooked in so many methods either steaming over a soup or fried or deep fried after being steamed. Generally, Momo is accompanied by sour soup or chilly sauce or tomato sauce. Momo recipe is very popular in most of the restaurants in Kathmandu. Basically, Momo is used as a snack. There are ten pieces of Momos in one plate.
